Tonight I took my first Pilates Reformer class at Vida Pilates using ClassPass. The studio held eight reformers, just enough to keep the class small. Being a novice I required a little more direction and the instructor was glad to help.
The instructor took us through a series of exercises and worked several muscles until exhaustion. All honesty, during the middle of the class o began to wonder if this was really worth it. I know, I know, I barely have it a shot. It’s not a HIIT workout but maybe it’s what I need to strengthen my core and tone my legs.
Also, the next day I spoke to a friend about the class and she said “stick with it. You’ll enjoy it around your 5th time.” So with that I will give Pilates another shot.
