My, my, my, how I love brunch. I don’t care where it is, I am there. Put some coffee in a cup or pour a mimosa and I’m pulling up a chair.
On this occasion, we stopped by Café Topes in Carlsbad for a bite to eat. So this place is worth the wait. Everything on the menu looked delicious, which made it tough to make a decision. We ordered the country fried steak with country gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, French toast, over easy eggs, sausage patties and whole grain bread. The portions are out of control and I love it.
As alway with dining in the San Diego area, its best to sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather.
