To Travel is to Explore

I came across this quote and it embodies how I feel about traveling.

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. – Leonardo Da Vinci

So here we go…….

The Questions:

1. Your most treasured passport stamp?

That’s a tough one. First would be the Doha, Qatar stamp, especially that being my first international trip. My second most treasured stamp would be Amsterdam. I just love, love, loved everything about Amsterdam.

2. Can you recite your passport # from memory if asked? (Y/N, don’t give out your info online please!)

No, I’m not interested in memorizing my passport number.

3. Preferred method of travel; planes, trains or automobiles?

For sure I love airplanes. I often see planes and wish I was a passenger on the flight. I just love traveling to new places and being above the clouds.

4. Top 3 travel items?

Mac Makeup, I can’t travel without it.
My iPhone (for internet and camera)
A satchel to hold my things

5. Hostel or hotel?

AirBnB all the way, I wouldn’t choose any other option. Love the convenience and all of the properties to choose from.

6. Are you a repeat visitor or do you explore new places?

Well, that depends. I’ve visited the Middle East each time I’ve traveled. Also, most of my flights have layovers in Frankfurt, Germany.

Visiting the UAE

7. Do you read up on your destination (culture, history, safety) or do you wing it?

Yes!!! It helps connect everything together. To travel is to live the culture for a brief moment, so why not understand its past.

8. Favorite travel website?

Travelnoire and TheFlightDeal

9. Where would you recommend a friend to visit? Name city & why.

I would recommend a friend visit any place that requires a passport for entry.

10, You’re leaving tomorrow, money is no option, where are you going?

I want to visit Rome and Venice!!!!!

Keep the tag going whether you travel lots or want to, I would love to see your answers. Link in the comments below.
