Change is Good

We are only seventeen days into 2014 and I’ve done a little spring cleaning per se.   So far I’ve committed to letting go of the old and move towards embracing what’s to come.

While this isn’t huge to everyone, I’ve cut my hair, well really it fell out.  My hair began to break off very badly and even the texture began to change back in 2013.  I fought cutting my hair every step of the way.  Well today I had to let it go.  No I’m not in love with my new cut, but I don’t have a choice but to embrace the new look.

In addition to a new look, I’ve set a goal to get back into shape….again.  The funny thing is that I would hit the gym three times a week for most of the year, then I stopped going after the cruise in September 2013.  I’ve ordered a Polar FT7 Heart Rate Monitor watch to track my heart rate during my workout.  I’ve done a ton of research and noticed that I could work out “smarter” if I could keep my heart rate around 160 beats a minute.

So I’ve also ordered some good reads, I figured that it’s time to get serious about finance, especially now that I’m done taking millions of test to become licensed.  I ordered “Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham the other day from Barnes and Noble.  My plan this year is to spend more time studying what I wish to master.

My current situation.

So far, that’s all I have.  I will give you guys an update soon.
