Unchanged

One thing I’ve noticed throughout my life is that I struggle with meeting new people. Strange, right? Well I’m sure that I’m not the only person with this problem. Not that I had a ton of people to hang out with back home, but I felt like I had options. Since moving to Florida I’ve stayed relatively busy enough to not be sociable. On top of adjusting to a new state, job, and life; it’s rather hard to find a ton of time to be sociable. Ugh!! There is my problem, now that I’ve freed up a bit, I’m not sure where to begin. I enjoy hanging out with my co-workers, but there are times when I want to leave work at work. It’s so hard to “let your hair down” while around co-workers. With the remainder of my year being consumed with travel and studying, I hope to find some time to get out.

Things I’ve learned along the way
1. Old habits seem to creep up at odd times
2. Finding good people is kind of hard
3. Working and studying all the time makes for a dull life
4. The struggle to be outgoing is tough
